We are now CLOSED until at least Wednesday 2nd December 2020 to comply with the new LOCKDOWN RESTRICTIONS.
Some of you have asked why we cannot stay open, as they are aware that other venues in our sector have chosen to do this, we cannot support this view and believe they are operating outside the guidelines and will probably end up getting fined.
This article is a good summary of the situation as we see it - https://outdoorswimmer.com/blogs/should-swimming-be-given-special-treatment-in-lockdown-2?fbclid=IwAR3XT0JuiBpo6kVhhaet2xn3np_nBVArgp3IyBNTF2TzzF30r-E0geBVEBI
Notwithstanding any financial implications of getting a fine and the potential damage to our reputation if we were to stay open, it just isn't morally right either IMHO.
We will be re open for the WINTER SWIM SEASON from Sunday 6th December and you are free to go book a place now on that session if you are inducted.
If you still need to complete your 'induction' then we are also planning to run some 'extra' dates starting as soon as we can after lockdown is lifted.
We are looking at releasing sessions on the Thur/Fri/Sat immediately following the confirmed lifting of lockdown on WEDNESDAY 2nd DECEMBER 2020 for both inductions and swimming.
Please bear with us while we change everything again across all systems and arrange refunds for those that have decided to not wait until December.
In the other news, we will dream up some new soup recipes and start getting ready for the annual Black Friday SALE where you will be able to buy your discounted swim credit for SUMMER 2021.
Hopefully we will see you all soon.
