IT SAYS I HAVE TO BE A 'MEMBER' HOW DO I JOIN AND WHAT DOES IT COST?

Joining is easy - simply fill int he online membership form and book a swim via the booking app. On your first visit you will pay for your membership card (£10) but the swim is pre paid and pre booked via the app before your visit.

You will be asked to agree to our RULES & RECOMMENDATIONS using our ONLINE MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION and you will be issued with a membership card that has a unique number on it and all your PERSONAL DATA and EMERGENCY INFORMATION - You will need this card EVERY time you come for a swim as it has all your data on it in case of emergency.

PLEASE NOTE: If you swam at our venue last year and still have your 2018 membership card, then please bring it down so we can revalidate it for the 2019 season. There is NO MEMBERSHIP FEE if you are revalidating last years card.

If you forget your card, you will need to complete a TEMPORARY MEMBERSHIP CARD so you can swim - so best to remember it each time or YOU WILL BE DELAYED WHILE YOU COMPLETE THE TEMPORARY MEMBERSHIP PROCESS.

You hand in your card in exchange for a numbered wrist band each time you come for a swim and the MEMBER CARD is returned to you after your swim for safe keeping.

ALL SWIMMERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE OUR ONLINE MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION - EVEN IF YOU ARE ONLY VISITING FOR A ONE OF SWIM WHILE ON HOLIDAY etc

It is possible to avoid the £10 MEMBERSHIP CHARGE for a ONE OFF SWIM but this will only be valid for ONE VISIT an NO MEMBERSHIP CARD will be issued.

IF YOU FORGET TO HAND IN YOUR BAND AND COLLECT YOUR CARD we reserve the right to charge you £10 (cost of membership) to return your card to you as it causes us all sorts of issues and hassle on the day as we have to check in on you for your own safety.

CAN I HIRE A WET SUIT?

Yes! We have a limited number of 'swim specific' wetsuits by recognised brands such as BLUE SEVENTY available to hire at £7.50 per suit per session.

There is a RENTAL FORM to complete that requires you to pay £20 if the suit is damaged so we can get it repaired.

Suits are available on a 'first come/first served' basis and it is not possible to 'reserve' them.

We also have about 120 'recreational' wetsuits on site so can always find something to fit, but it might not be a swim specific suit.

CAN I GET A DRINK AND SOMETHING TO EAT?

Yes! We have a great little cafe on site that serves amazing cakes, bacon sandwiches, hot drinks real, fresh coffee and a great selection of things like home made chilli, soup and even vegan dishes.
